CHICKEN TIKKA

 

Chicken Tikka is always a favourite as it’s quick (marinating time aside), easy, healthy and incredibly tasty!

 

What you’ll need:

500g chicken breasts 

1 teaspoon of coriander powder 

1 teaspoon of curry powder

1 teaspoon of turmeric powder

200g plan yoghurt

Salt to taste


METHOD

Cut the chicken pieces into cubes.

Mix the spices and yoghurt in a big bowl.

Add chicken pieces and refrigerate for 6 hours.

Place marinaded chicken pieces onto skewers and then put it on your tandoor at 78 degrees centigrade for 20 mins. If you don’t have a tandoor, a pre-heated oven/grill/air fryer will work.

Twist constantly to ensure even cooking and check to ensure that it doesn’t overcook!

Take it out and enjoy!
